About Mimies Cards

Mimies Cards makes personalised photo playing cards. You send us 14 of your photos, we design them into a real 54-card deck with a name or message on the back, and it arrives in a tin, ready to give. We also make a screen-free digital camera for taking the photos that end up in next year's deck.
Hi, I'm Mia
I started Mimies with one deck. My brother was living overseas, and I wanted to send him something better than another care package, so I put our family photos on a pack of cards. He played with it everywhere: flatmates, hostels, plane tray tables. Every game came with a story about the people on the cards. A photo frame would have sat on his desk. The deck went everywhere with him. You can read the full story here.
That's still the test for every deck we make: will someone pull it out again and again? Mimies is run by me and my sisters, and we've now made more than 3,900 decks for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas and every kind of group chat.
What makes a Mimies deck different
- We do the design. There's no online editor to wrestle with. You choose 14 photos and name the deck, and we lay it out so it looks like one finished object.
- It's a real deck of cards. 54 playing cards that shuffle and deal properly, so it gets used at game nights and holidays for years.
- It's ready to give. Every deck comes in a tin with your chosen name or line on the back of the cards.
